AVOCADO CHALLENGE! Over the next two weeks eat one whole avocado per day, and feel the difference in your energy levels and your appearance.

Tips: To prevent browning after cutting, apply some lemon juice to the cut area and wrap in plastic.
Be sure to scrape and eat the avocado close to the skin as this is where most of the nutrients are.

Leg Day!

My knees hurt, I have lower back pain, it’s too hard! All common reasons given when I ask someone why they don’t train their legs.

The legs are very large and complex muscle group which should be given a priority in any training program. They are the largest muscle group in your body and the bigger the muscle worked out the more calories burnt!

If your having aches and pains from performing leg exercises it may be a good idea to get a personal trainer or trained individual to teach and correct your form. Other underlying issues may also be the cause of your pain so seek help and stay healthy !

Caffeine is great for having before your workout. Studies have shown it to increase fat oxidization and boost energy levels in gym goers. In Japan there are numerous vending machines providing a variety of coffee types from Cafe Latte to Strong Black. One new addition i saw today was Hot Ginger Ale ! and the taste? It was like drinking a canned soda that had been left in a hot car during summer. Not my favourite!
